  • The department of Nursing that boasts its 40-year history is a 3-year department. It also has aspecialization for major system through which students can earn Bachelor’s degree after 4 years. Lastly,our Nursing department runs the NCLEX-RN (National Council License Examination for Registered Nurse)Program.

• Health Care Administration Department
  • Designated as a specialized department for health by the Ministry of Education, Science, andTechnology, the department of Health Care Administration trains hospital coordinators with certificatesof Medical Transcriptionists and hospital administrators

• Emergency Medical Technology Department
  • The department of Emergency Medical Technology, established for the first time in Korea, trainsemergency medical technicians.

• Beauty Design Department
  • The Department of Cosmetology is considered a department with great prospects for the 21st centurywith students seeking to create beauty with talent.

• Physical Therapy Department
  • The department of Physical Therapy, a 3-year department with the specialization for major and creditbank system, trains professional physical therapists who will lead the field of medical self-help.

• Radiologic Technology Department
  • The department of Radiologic Technology is also a 3-year department. It is designed to teachradiological technologies with hands-on training at local hospitals.

• VISUAL OPTICS DEPARTMENT
  • The department of Visual Optics is considered to be the Mecca for professional optometrists who striveto make the world brighter.

• Computer Application Department
  • In the department of Computer Application, students are able to acquire expert knowledge in computersand become web masters, programmers.

• Steel industry DepartmenT
  • Iron and steel industry is one of the biggest industries in South Korea. The educational goal of theDepartment of Steel industry is to train human resources for the development of the steel industry ofKorea.

• plant Design DepartmenT
  • These majors are designed to assist students with the development of the knowledge, sensitivity, andskills for the best plant design as well as process control of industrial settings. The schoolrecognizes the importance of the plant industry to the human race. The goal of the department is totrain plant designers who will be able to advance Korea on the national and local levels.

• Social Welfare & counseling psychology Department
  • Students from the department of Social Welfare become social workers, counselors in care servicesector, and public officials in social welfare departments.

• Police Administration Department
  • The department of Police Administration at Sunlin College is selected as the best department amongother police administration departments in Korea, train police officers, administrative publicofficials, and security professionals.

• Early Childhood Education Department
  • A recipient of ‘customized job training’ financial support from 2007-2008 Ministry of Education,Science, and Technology, the department of Early Childhood Education is a 3-year department wherestudents are able to obtain a Bachelor’s degree.

• Childcare Department
  • The department of Childcare trains skilled social workers and teachers of early childhood educationthrough on-site practice-based education.

• Tax Accounting Information Department
  • This trains Accounting & Tax experts for financial institutions, securities brokerages, certifiedpublic accountant and tax account offices where a expertise in accounting and Tax technology are ingreat demand.

• International Business Administration and Information Science Department
  • The department of International Business Administration and Information Science offers a new vision tohelp students in becoming professionals individuals with proficient knowledge of English language. Thisprogram offers Bachelor of Business Administration & Information system in a joint program withNorthwestern Polytechnic University in Fremont, CA.

• Hotel Restaurant Management Department
  • The Hotel Restaurant Management School is divided into 3 departments: Hotel Tourism management, HotelCulinary Arts, Hotel Baking and Confectionary. It produces professionals in hotel, tourism, culinary,and baking industries.

• Weapon System Department
  • The dept and its program is the only one in operating weapon systems and repairing them. The graduatesof the program is the best way for on military service for weapon controller or weapon repair men asNCO(Non Commissioned Officer).

• Logistics Support Department
  • The department of Logistics Support System produces professionals of logistics support affairs such asadministration and medical support.

SCHOOL OF ART & SPORTS SCIENCE

• Visual Design School Department
  • Visual design become designer expressive of individual character, the chief of a nursery-school andteacher. This provides a professional web design training programs covering advertising design,printing, P.O.P. design and editorial design for newspapers, magazines and TV.

• Fashion Design School Department
  • The Fashion Design School including the departments of Fashion Design and the department WeddingConsulting focuses on cultivating students’ creative talents and abilities so that they become fashionstylists, and wedding planners.

• Flower Design & Interior Landscaping Design Department
  • The department Flower Design and Interior Landscaping Design educates students to become engineerflower design or interior landscaping designers.

• AFFILIATED ORGANIZATIONS
  • Digital Library, Computer and Information Center, University Newspaper Club, Broadcasting Club, andSchool Magazine Editorial Department are Sunlin’s affiliated organizations. Also, the Academy ofContinuing Education, the Childminder Academy, the Geriatric Care Helpers Academy, the Institute ofStudent Life, the NCLEX-RN education center, and the International Language Institute are parts ofSunlin Global College.

Sunlin College’s Study Abroad Program gives students opportunities to study in overseascountries. There are five study abroad programs. First of all, ‘Culture Experience Program” allow students toexperience foreign culture by visiting universities and related institutes abroad for a week. Through the‘language training program’, students can sharpen their foreign language skills so that they can have moreopportunities to land a job after graduation.

There are also the ‘global training program’ run by the Ministry of Education, Science, andTechnology and the ‘overseas field training program’ through which students can acquire work experience inforeign countries such as the U.S, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and China for 3 to 16 weeks.

Sunlin College’s exchange program with universities in sisterhood relationship allows studentsto go abroad for one semester and have a new experience through cultural exchange with foreign students.

In addition, students can transfer to Sunlin College’s sister schools after finishing 3semesters in Sunlin College through ‘Transfer/Admission Program’ so that they can improve their foreignlanguage skills and grow to be a global leader.

Sunlin College has established academic ties with University of Sunshine Coast in Australia,Northwestern Polytechnic and Emporia State Universities in the U.S.A, Pacific International Hotel ManagementSchool in New Zealand, and College of New Caledonia in Canada.

With the faculty of Northwestern Polytechnic University sent to Sunlin College through the dualdegree program, Sunlin College offers classes in English.

Students currently enrolled at Sunlin College are eligible for a 40% discount every semester.Also, we reduced the tuition by half for all international students to help alleviate economic difficulties.

VISA

Students who have been accepted to Sunlin College can apply for either a Temporary VisitingVisa (C-3) or a General Training Visa (D-4). It is essential for foreign nationals to have an appropriate visafor their study. Visa application should be made at Korean Embassies or consulate offices (Except Chinesestudents). For more information related to the visa, please visit the Immigration Bureau website(https://www.immigration.go.kr) or KoreanEmbassy website at your home country.

Temporary Visiting Visa (C-3)This visa is generally called a tourist visa or a visiting visa. Students who are planning to study at Sunlinfor only one term (10 weeks) may apply for the C-3 visa. This visa is good for 3 months (90 days) and can beissued immediately upon application at either a Korean Embassy or a Consulate office.

General Training Visa (D-4)Students who are planning to study for more than one term should apply for the D-4 visa. This visa isgenerally good for 3 months at a time and can be renewed in Korea. Since this visa takes approximately 2 weeksto process upon application at either a Korean Embassy or a Consulate office, it is recommended that studentsapply for this visa at least 1 month before leaving for Korea. Students who would like to obtain a D-4 visashould prepare a notarized sponsorship letter from one Korean sponsor and a financial statement (remittance ofmoney exchange of US$3,000 or over).

DORMITORY (HOUSING)

The dorm offers all the comforts of home in an atmosphere conducive to studious pursuits andnurturing new friendships. The dormitory fee is KRW 130,000 per month.
